Besides being excellent in the VIS/NIR range, they are exceptional in the UV range because the lenses are made of fused silica. These lenses were manufactured by Spectraconn for a particular client. Unfortunately, the deal fell through so they were forced to liquidate them at a fraction of the cost. There is a limited quantity so once they are gone, they are gone. Spectraconn manufactures fiber optics products and the owner was one the early scientists for Ocean Optics.
