Europe was made by a local jeweler and was made of a pewter alloy (dull gray in color – a nice looking coin). It is a very hard to find Special Forces coin, and one characteristic stands out from it later American made version—the umlaut on the in-theater version—the “ö” (double dots over the letter “o”.) in the town name Bad Tölz.
