Sony Handycam DCR - VX2000 NTSC w/ Accessories READ DESCRIPTION

Description: Classic Sony Handycam DCR-VX2000. Comes with what is seen: Three batteries (but I think the original Sony one may be dead), battery charger, and Steady Stick (missing belt but can use any regular old belt with it). Does not have a manual but the manual for these are online. I don't know anything about cameras so I don't know how to properly test this, but it turns on (see video). I'm selling for "Parts/Repair" as I don't know how to operate it and don't want to promise anything, so it's a bit of a gamble but that's why I'm selling so cheap compared to others I see online. But it may just work fine! It does not have a tape or memory stick, so I haven't test recording. I did notice that sometimes the tape compartment opens fine and sometimes it needs a press to open. But if you are using this for digital the tape cartridge wouldn't matter if I understand correctly how that works. Everything else seems to works, so I can't imagine that the recording aspect is not working, but not certain. Cosmetically it is very nice. No returns, sold as is.
