Description: This is a signed b/w photograph of Sol Hurok. Solomon Israilevich Hurok (1888-1974) was a20th-century American theatrical and entertainmentproducer and manager. Born in Russia, Hurokcame to the USA in 1906. During his long career, Hurok managed many performing artists, including Marian Anderson, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Feodor Chaliapin, Grace Bumbry, Van Cliburn, Isadora Duncan, Michel Fokine, Margot Fonteyn, Emil Gilels, Alexander Glazunov, David Oistrakh, Anna Pavlova, Andrés Segovia, Sviatoslav Richter, Mstislav Rostropovich,Arthur Rubinstein, Isaac Stern, and Efrem Zimbalist, among many others. This is a 9" by 7" b/w photo, in good condition. The photo was taken by photographer Boris Goldenberg. The signed photo comes with a certificate of authenticity from JG Autographs.
