Description: Plain Jane 1 SKI HI - NEW YORK TO PARIS GAME - CUTLER & SALEEBY CA 1927 – LINDBERGH DESCRIPTION Ski Hi New York to Paris Board Game. 8 x 12 ¾. Cutler & Salesby Inc, Springfield Mass. Graphic illustrated cover, inside game board affixed to bottom of box. Based on Charles Lindbergh's historic solo flight across the Atlantic from New York to Paris in 1927. This is a simple roll-and-move type of game, however some setbacks and helps are added by landing on colored squares which send a player backwards down a detour, all the way back to the "Starting Field", down a short-cut detour, gaining a second turn, or out of the game completely by being "lost at sea" after landing on a black square. Landing on a space occupied by another "airship" also sends them back to start. An exact number is needed to win the game. The goal is to complete a flight from New York to Paris ahead of your opponents.Box cover exhibits some light use and wear, but overall Fine. With the exception of a five inch piece, along with a smaller ¾ piece, the side panels are present . The bottom of the bottom has a one inch piece missing along a side panel, o/ w present and in basically Gd-Vg condition. The are no game pieces or spinner. Please refer to photographs for condition.
