With many parts missing between the platesThis is a beautifully made key-wound solid silver pocket watch, made in ca. 1865. THE DIAL: 95% mint, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and in bright condition with no chips and several hairlines. The dial signed Guy Adams of Liverpool. The dial with gold hands. Diameter is 42 mm. The crystal with an edge chip at 3.30 and retained securely. THE MOVEMENT: 90% The movement signed on the top plate, "Guy Adams of Liverpool, No 3853. With good free swinging balance . Ther wheel work between the plates all missing so needs repair and overhaul or for parts. With the movement hinge missing THE CASE: 90% mint, the solid silver case measures an impressive 47 mm. The front and rear covers both close nice and tightly and with 9k gold hinges. The case fully marked with Chester sterling silver marks, RT. case maker stamp and No 39. The rear cover in with several dents.
