Description: Set of 4 Antique Victorian Oak Wood Lion Head & Paw Table Legs. Long reach low profile legs, designed to be attached to a pedestal table. Inspired by the Gothic and Renaissance styles that emerged at the end of Victorian era, these legs were nicely hand carved with detailed roaring lion faces and paws. Estimated age is late 19th century to early 20th century. The legs are in nice condition with several small to minor chips along the edges (see Photo 12 to 16). Dust and dirt have collected in the carved grooves, and there are minor seam separations and wood cracks. Slight stains, paint loss, and discoloration can be seen throughout.
