Description: Set of 3 Vintage Christmas Valentine Choir Girl Figurines in Beautiful Red Dresses- So Cute-Near Mint! Up for sale in this auction is a set of 3 wonderful vintage Christmas girl figurines. Perfect for Christmas but could be displayed all year long if you wish. I believe they date to the 1950's. Each figurine features a cute little girl in a red dress-each is a different design. They are ready to sing all your favorite Christmas carols! Something unique is that each girl has a small hole in the very top of her head. They appear to have maybe been bells at one time and this was where the ringer was attached but I can't say for sure. These were purchased many years ago at a local estate. The previous owner told me they were her mother's and she doesn't remember them ever looking any different than this. I have used them as figurines, and one year, I even knotted a cord hanger through the hole so I could use them on my tree. I really like them best as figurines though and the tiny hole isn't detracting at all. Also a cute addition to any Valentine collection-no reason they can’t be left out year round. I love the super cute bisque faces and the matte finish on the red dresses. These aren't marked anywhere but are definitely reminiscent of similar pieces of the 1950's era made by Lefton, Napco, Josef and others. Each figurine measures 4 to 4.5 inches tall. I generally don't state that things that are of this vintage are in "Near Mint" condition but these are the closest I have seen to mint condition for something of this age.
