These follow-focus rings are a must to securely "cine-vize" your lenses, particularly older lenses like Takumar, Helios, etc. These rings can be used on focus, zoom, or iris rings to total cinema-level FF control! A common mistake is to choose a ring based on the filter diameter. Wrong! Be sure to measure the actual diameter of the focus/zoom/iris ring before selecting a gear ring size. Again, you can choose a slightly smaller size (within a few millimeters) and then stretch the ring to fit. A loose fit is no good!
