It won’t stay unlocked if someone forgets to re-lock it, which can be a big security benefit. ONE access card is included for initial use and more cards or fobs can be purchased directly from a variety of distributors. The lock connects to WiFi for management or to add/delete approved users with the Schlage ENGAGE mobile app or through the online web portal. An incredible feature of this lock is that it retrofits to any standard commercial door opening, meaning you can enjoy instant access control features without having to run additional wires or drill any other holes in a standard commercial door. Instructions and all required hardware are included in the box! For backup entry, a standard Schlage LFIC core (not included) can be added to provide keyed entry to the exterior of the door.
