Ruby Overlay Cut To Clear Crystal Sugar Shaker Val St Lambert c1900 Patt. HF 16

Description: This is an original Val St Lambert ruby overlay glass cut to clear sugar shaker/ muffineer. It is 5 inches tall and 2 3/8 inches across and with a brass cap as sold. Super wheel cutting in a cane and fan type cut. I found this pattern in the 1908 company catalog where it is called pattern HF 16. There is a very thin flake on the bottom edge that is really impossible to see if viewing from the side on a shelf, etc. Viewing from the bottom the thin chip is about 5 mm long and appears like a pointed end oval. Great looking in a display case with good light on it.
