The cards are based on the computer animated movie directed by Chris Wedge (Ice Age) that takes place in a world populated entirely by mechanical beings. It is the story of Rodney Copperbottom (Ewan McGregor) who is considered a genius inventor. Rodney dreams of two things, making the world a better place and meeting his idol, the master inventor Bigweld (Mel Brooks). On his journey he encounters Cappy (Halle Berry), a beautiful executive `bot with whom Rodney is instantly smitten, the nefarious corporate tyrant Ratchet (Greg Kinnear) who locks horns with Rodney, and a group of misfit `bots known as the Rusties, led by Fender (Robin Williams) and Piper Pinwheeler (Amanda Bynes). The card set is broken down into subsets that give you detailed information in the "Character Cards," as well as some background on the "Growing Up" cards. Then there are the "Story Cards" (45).
