Our personal quest to find a replacement star for our collectible tree inspired us to get innovative and create our own. This star is made of semi-transparent yellow resin that allows the light to shine through and attaches to the top of the tree magnetically. The star has a glitter finish and measures approximately 2" in diameter. This star was meticulously designed by Christopher Spitz in Boise, Idaho. We have tested this design extensively on the Pug version of the Danbury Mint tree, but it should work on any similar tree featuring other dog breeds (those that have the two clear bones on the top of the tree).
