Description: Remington Arms Co 150th Anniversary Art Portfolio BY BOB KUHN 1966 Lot of 11 This is missing one of the prints some do have some wear Remington Arms Co art portfolio from the 150th anniversary in 1966. The collection consists of twelve prints in total with six wildlife art pieces by Bob Kuhn and six antique firearm art pieces by James Laing. Bob Kuhn is a well known American wildlife artist with wonderful depictions of African and North American wildlife. The prints show wildlife scenes from across the years from 1820 to 1930. The pieces are titled; Steady, Son -1820's, Rogue Grizzly- 1860's, Tolling Up Antelope- 1870's, Before The Plow-1880's, Bull Of The Woods- 1920's, and Wings On The Mississippi-1930's. James Laing is an American artist known for his excellent and accurate depictions of antique firearms from Remington's first rifle in 1816 to the 1950's. The art prints show depictions of Remington Percussion Lock Rifle, The Remington Model 8 Autoloading Rifle, The Remington Model 11 Automatic Shotgun,The Remington Whittmore, Model 1874, The Remington Sporting Rifle No. 1 and New Model Army Revolver, and finally the Remington Zouave Rifle. The prints are stored in a paper portfolio with the image of a bobcat watching Remington as he carries his first hand forged barrel to get rifled. Great condition overall. Each of the prints measures 16 1/2" wide by 12 1/4" tall with the art measuring approximately 13" wide by 8 3/4" tall.
