They are considered very rare birds, also they are considered duel purpose birds good for both meat and eggs. The hens weigh up to 8lbs and the Roosters weigh 10lbs when mature. They lay around 200 eggs per year. They are cold hardy birds. These are heritage breed chickens. They are very docile calm temperament and very friendly so they make excellent pets! They are very beautiful and they have the softest feathers! I raise mine on all natural organic non GMO non genetically modified and non medicated feed they also free range. I do not accept returns. There are certain risk you assume when ordering eggs online. Certain things are out of my control like how the USPS, FedEx or UPS handles these packages I package my eggs very well and have had great success if you receive a damaged package you will need to file a claim with USPS FedEx or UPS the packages are insured through them. Also I cannot control the weather conditions like extreme heat or freezing temperatures when it gets too hot or cold it can affect the hatching rates. I keep the eggs stored in a controlled environment at 68F I have had very good hatching rates around 90% with these eggs. My goal is for everyone to get the freshest fertilized eggs as possible so that everyone gets the little chicks they want! I am very thankful and I really appreciate everyone's business!
