That particular one is A true hand forged Gendaito blade, they these are very rare to find. To find A true hand forged Gendaito by him & A special made/order piece it's even more super rare to find ! Nagasa / cutting-edge: 26-11/16" or 68.2 cmTang : 9-1/16" or 23 cmTotal balde lenght : 35-7/8" or 91.2 cm Blade thickness at the habaki notch : 7.2 mmWidth at the habaki : 1-3/16" or 3.1 cmWidth at yokote : 15/16" or 2.22 cmKissaki / point : 1-1/14" or 3.2 cm Graceful Sori / curve : 11-16" or 2.1 cm Hamon : A very attractive well executed flamboyant & very active some-kind wavy pointed gunome-midare on both side with A strong point with A big turn-back/Boshi on both side. Hada / grain : A well forged striking & flashy O-itame-nagare mix on both side, & the blade exhibit some beautiful & outstanding activity within (look photos below!). Blade condition : original 1941 generally clean first polish & untouched.Stout & healthy, no Kizu/flaw, no crack/hagire, no bend, just only some minor small chip/nick in the monouchi/uper part for WW2 use. The blade can be enjoyed as is or it's at the new owner to decide if he wants to have it re-polished eventually.
