Description: Here is a Royal Copenhagen Saxon Flower Snuff Bottle with Lid, Number 4/1570. It is a rare, old and beautiful piece! The snuff bottle is a factory first in excellent condition. Based on my research I believe the piece is from 1850-1870. It was made and hand painted in Denmark. The piece is part of Royal Copenhagen's Saxon Flower service which features overglaze painting of bright flowers and gold decorations. The snuff bottle is approximately 3 7/8 inches tall to the top of its lid. It has no damages or significant signs of wear. There are no cracks or chips or repairs or bad scratching. Slight wear is apparent to the stopper/lid. The snuff bottle is prone to wobbling a bit on its base. The lid fits a bit loosely. Its stopper is long and helps keep the lid in place. This is a rare, special piece that deserves its place in any collection. Please examine the photos and description and reach out with any questions!Carefully packaged in non-smoking, no pets household, and shipped with Priority Mail.
