It is a very RARE and wonderful find. It's a documented sample , printed by E Gallet of Paris , dating c1890-1900. The heavy weight cotton fabric was printed using the wax resist method and Indigo blue ~ there is also a border! Two patterns in one ~ In 25 years I've never found another like it ~ it's a treasure!!! MEASUREMENTS : This textile measures 50 inches by 22 inches CONDITION : This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~There are age marks on this piece, the tag has browned with age. ~ there are signs of time on this piece, making me love it even more! ~ EFF 198
