RARE Early 1970's Mego Superman action figure - high grade

Description: Look, up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! IT's SUPERMAN !!!RARE Early Mego 1971 Superman action figure with original outfit. Figure is solid. Has been restrung so joints are tight like new. No visible damage.Head is very nice. Slight touch up of hair.Outfit is nice. Some slight sewing repairs. Lower snap has been replaced.Original cape has very little fraying. Tiny bit of trimming stray threads.Original insignia has some distress. Outfit discolored underneath from adhesive. (not noticeable from outside).Original boots are good. The outfit has a greyish color more than blue (not quite like Batman).It is reminiscent of the outfit George Reeves wore on the 1950/60's TV show.( Hence the photo back drops) An excellent example of the earlier Mego figures.
