Description: Made by Chelsea in the United States between 1940-44, it features a rare brass dial and is accompanied by a key. The clock is of large size and was designed for use on US Navy vessels during World War II. The clock's primary materials are brass and glass, with a distinctive design that sets it apart from other maritime clocks. It is original and a true piece of history, perfect for any collector or enthusiast of maritime memorabilia. Serial number inscribed on the rear case is 285722. It does not currently work and will be sold as-is. When I tried to wind it the spring feels good but it doesn’t catch inside well and doesn’t run. I’m not a clock repair expert so not sure what it will need. Either way this is a very hard to find clock with this dial!
