The hole in the center of each bead is a dark rich fuschia which transmits color through the bead itself, which is a greasy finish (meaning it allows some light to transmit through it, in this case, also some color to transmit through). What's so lovely is that the intensity of the color is muted through the bead and is variable, so you get a soft carnation color of pink but it varies from bead to bead, as you can see when you string them (see photos). This would be great in antique bead work or restoration, or any project where you want some depth and richness and a vintage/antique look. 1.3-1.4 millimeter diameter, and 25 beads per inch as strung.
