Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is early copy of KMZ, Jupiter-12, 35mm F/2.8 in Contax, Kiev mount camera lens made in 1952 according to the serial # 5200295. This lens will fit to pre-war or war time Contax II or early Kiev with Cyrillic letters “КИЕВ” but you have to use distance scale with appropriate aperture setting to determine DOF - rangefinder focusing won’t be activated on these particular cameras (patch won’t move). The rangefinder mechanism will fully work with later model of Kiev cameras, I used it together with Kiev IV from 1960-s with no problems. The lens is in very good condition considering its age. Both front and rear glasses are clean and clear, no haze, no mold or scratches, no wipe/cleaning marks and aperture blades are free from oil. Aperture rings moves freely and focusing wheel is set to not too fast and not too slow action. There is a tiny, barely noticeable cosmetic curving at the flange base (pic #8) that no way has effect on the lens functionality. Comes as seen from the pictures: front and rear caps, bakelite case and passport. Contax II camera is not included in auction. Thank you for looking and happy bidding!
