This book starts on page 401 and ends at 800 - volume one would have pages 1-400. Published Chicago: Rand McNally & Co. Dated on atlases 1899. Type of maps: Original printed color lithographed maps. Any 1800's Rand McNally's atlases of this ilk are increasingly difficult to acquire. There are a plethora of the much sought after colored old state and world maps. The encyclopedia portion of this text is really fascinating as it details alphabetically various things - this book starts in the F's with Fo'rum and fossils and ends with zygophyllaceae, then has old color maps.
