We have been told recently by a customer he got it to work on the ps2 , here is what he did and his ebay user id if you wish to contact him: Dear cheapgamestuff, I purchased the memory card from you, I just wanted to let you know I got it to work in my ps2. also, you are correct about it most likely not working in the ps2, but all you have to do is as your putting the memory are in the slot, while the system is on of course, when the letter an number (a1) comes on stop inserting it in the slot. in other words don't fully put the memory card in the slot. let it just halfway be inserted. which is basically enough for it to read the card and be used normally, but you have to watch because you can pull it out or if the ps2 is on its side it would probably not work the way it did for me.
