I have eaten bars 16 months past best by dates before and they were fine. These bars are meant to be sold to the end user, not for retail purposes. The boxes these came in were either past their best by date or damaged (meaning some may be perfectly new and before best by date as well). ALL wrappers are sealed! During the warmer seasons, I’d recommend letting your package cool off before opening or handling the bars after they arrive!
