It is surely ours and we aren't in a hurry to see this one leave. It is just that amazing! We first saw this bridle a few years ago from an incredible, well respected and lifelong collector of quality pieces like this. He told us the story, but sadly its been a while and we simply don't know all of the history. He has since passed, and it is an honor to have this one and offer it. From what we remember, this is a Walla Walla prison made hitched horse hair bridle. He bought it new decades ago and has been proudly hung in a display since that time. It has never been used, only appreciated. Horse size. Beautiful palomino and chestnut horse hair, tightly plaited in a flat braid. With horse hair round beads, lots of horsehair tassels, and even horsehair keepers. Comes with a matching set of 100" split reins (measurement includes long horsehair poppers). Clips on the rein bit ends. The widest it is is 1/2" and narrowest is 3.8". This is an incredible set in perfect condition, with only a couple strands of flyaway strands of horsehair. You don't find ones in this condition often, and not with palomino horsehair, and not as a complete set. We love this one and know you will too.
