Description: I got this old desk on a house clean out. I do not know much about it. The woman told me it was from the 1800's and after doing research that seems to be accurate. It looks like a 19th century early American pine writing desk. It has mail style slots and a place to put ink perhaps? It could be a bookkeepers or clerks desk as well. It has a slanted, hinged top that flips up. The desk measures approximately 31" high x 25" wide and 23" deep. The legs are removable. These seem to be quite expensive so please just make an offer. If you happen to live close, you are welcome to pick it up.
