Description: For sale is trivet or cake plate in Dedham Pottery style blue and white crackle from The Pottery Shed. The 8 1/2" diameter piece is 3/8" thick with a slightly tapered edge. The text is impressed into the body as are the two outermost blue lines. The center round panel is hand painted and features rabbits separated with a floral motif. The trivet is flat on the bottom. This piece is in very good condition with no damage or wear. There is some light bleeding of the blue infill (example, photograph 12). There are three small stand marks on the reverse (one visible in photograph 9, above and slightly right of copyright symbol). The plate is signed and dated 2002 on the bottom. Made in the USA.
