Description: 64K Ignition/Door KEY BLANK FOR:PORSCHE 1958-1961 356A 356BAlso fits: DKW, Cosmopolitan, VauxhallThis key is stamped 64K and works as a replacement for the following key codes: 64K, P1161, POR3, P68Z, or PL6. If your keys have one of these part numbers on them, you have the right key. If not, compare the grooves of your key vs. the pictures closely as they must match exactly as Porsche started using different keys halfway through the production run. There is also the Porsche KP1 and DM4 key from this time frame so you need to be careful in your selection. Porsche also made an Octagonal head version with the same keyway called the 64KK. Check out Picture #5 to see a chart of Porsche keys from the 50's-90's.One of the best clues that this key will work for your application is if your current working key has a stamped code of "K" followed by a number from 100 to 199 or a "K" followed by numbers from 76161 to 76210. There is the later DM4 which has a code of K300. I show that this blank was used on 356A and B up to the following chassis numbers: Coupe: up to 11760 Cabrio/Hardtop: up to 155601 Roadster: up to 89601 Hardtop: 1961 up to 201601.
