Blooms in mid to late summer with red bronze flowers. Great for narrow areas or in a planter. Grows in USDA zones 4-9. Similar in color to zebra grass, porcupine grass tends to stay vertical while zebra grass arches and flops. May be trimmed to fit in a 24 or 36 inch shipping box in summer.
