This is a Minitor III,IV and V (i.e. 3, 4, and 5) programmer intended to be used with Microsoft Windows PCs running XP through Windows 11. USB cable included. The USB interface cable on my version lets you avoid having to find a serial port on a PC, which is becoming rare on newer PCs. The programmer is powered by the USB interface, and the pager is powered by its own battery, so there is no need for a power transformer. Note that this is solely a pager programmer, used to set frequencies, tones, alerts, etc. It cannot be used to change the firmware in a pager. It also doesn't support the Engineer Mode special software used by shops to ahcnge the pager's frequency sub-band, channel capacity, etc. The Minitor pagers are very sensitive receivers, and can be used for other purposes besides paging, assuming you can program it yourself and don't have to pay someone $15-$20 every time you want it re-programmed. This programmer works with the standard Motorola Minitor III/IV programming PC software and also with the Motorola Minitor V programming PC software . I am NOT providing this software, but you can find it free online.
