Description: Up for sale is a early copy of "Plays by Anton Tchekoff published in 1912 or 1913 by Scribners. Translation by Marian Fell. There is a bit of a weird publishing history here as it gives publication as Sept 1912 with no other dates but then also has 1913 listed in the title page. There is a Scribner's seal. I am assuming this is the first edition but later printing of this volume. Plays included here are Uncle Vanya, The Sea Gull, Ivanoff and The Swan Song. book is in fair condition with major issue being the very loose boards and the tape that may or may not be holding on the front board (I havent tried to remove it).
