Description: VINTAGE PHOENIX BEER-ALE 13 INCH METAL BEER ADVERTISING SERVING TRAY. Buffalo, New York. Originating as the Albert Ziegle Brewery in 1850. After a fire destroyed the brewery in 1887 it was quickly rebuilt and rose from the ashes like a mythological Phoenix, symbolizing mortality. That's why it is said they named it Phoenix brewing. Selling and closing in 1959. The brewery was demolished a few years later. *There were other Phoenix Breweries. Tray is listed as used. It remains in excellent visual condition until closely examined. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. Looks great. A scratch or 2 and lots of thin hairline spider veins like Grandma has in her legs. Hard to notice till you look close. A small ding as well. Graphics on inside and outer rim. Tray looks and displays well. It is over 70 years old and the colors still pop. Measures 13 inches across. Tray has been turned and rotated so that all sides are pictured. Please look carefully at the photos. This is the actual item you will receive. If the item has noticeable flaws, it will be mentioned in description. Please ask any questions you may have before purchase. I usually respond quite fast. I will combine shipping on multiple purchases to save you money. USA buyers only please.
