Description: PFM United HOn3 Brass C&S 2-6-0 Very Nice! Good Runner! Colorado & Southern. This is a great runner, and has a new power connector made out of Tygon instead of the original neoprene. Tygon is much more flexible, and really smooths out the operation of the motor and running gear. I've worked on several of these United C&S tender drive 2-8-0s and 2-6-0s this winter, and I must say, I am very surprised at their performance. The weight of the motor in the tender really helps with electrical pickup at the tender, and the extra space in the engine allows for a little more lead weight to be added as well. These tender drive units just run really well. The detail is also very nice for this vintage. This is just a pleasant little engine to have around. It likes to run!
