Description: The Red Solace metal cremation urn is a classic urn made of solid aluminum. This metal urn is a traditional vase shape and has a red, glossy finish. The urn opens from the top and has a secure threaded lid. To fill the urn, the threaded lid is removed, a secure bag of ashes is carefully placed inside the urn and the lid is put back in place. It is highly recommended to keep the ashes inside of a secure bag, they should never be poured directly into the urn. Although the lid is secure it is optional to add glue to the lid threads for a permanent closure. A clear epoxy is recommended but should be done with immense care and is not included. If the urn will be stored in your home, an outside the urn bag is recommended to prevent scratches of the urns finish and to protect it from dust. This urn can be buried but should be done so inside of a burial container. The burial container (sold separately) will protect the urn from the weight and environment of burial to ensure it remains intact forever.
