This is a very dainly and fragile looking passifloras with its featherly bracts surrounding the bud and blossom. The is hardy in zones 10 and above. The 10' vine has clusters of 1 1/2 inch soft cream to almost white flowers that blossoms from April thur August. It does slow down when the temperatures get in the high 90's. The fragrance is very delicate and although I have never done so, I have had others tell me that this small fruit is edible. This plant is very vigorous and grows quickly to cover the small arbor in a few weeks, in part or full sun, and therefore is a desirable plant for quick coverage.
