Passenger Car Interior KIT for the Rivarossi 85ft Smooth-Side Duplex Day Travel

Description: Miscellaneous Railroad Company 12Duplex-RivSS-D Passenger Car Interior KIT for the Rivarossi 85ft Smooth-Side Duplex Sleeper Car (Day-Time) This kit features 12 compartments outfitted for day travel. Travel capacity = 24 passengers. All the compartments have seating for the passengers and porter. No passengers are included. There are notches in the floor to fit around the protrusions and the roof/window latches. (Miniature passengers and Lead sheet are not included with this kit.) The lower level seated and standing people should have their feet trimmed as the floor is high to compensate for the installation of an LSW beneath the interior floor for car weight.. This KIT consists of 2 pieces to be glued together to create the interior. “Super Glue” works well; please read warning below. When gluing the parts together use a ruler to keep them straight. Paint the interior and install the passengers as you please. LSW078 is recommended for weight because it clears the window locking tabs. (You still have to mark and punch out the holes for the 5 locating lugs and truck screws.) Bond the completed interior to the previously installed LSW078 with automotive weather stripping adhesive. Note: Put frosty tape on the inside of lavatory window for privacy. L = 11 5/16in.; Weight = 1.3ounces I attempt to provide the most accurate description possible.
