Description: * * * * RARE PAIR OF CANDLESTICKS BY UNGER BROTHERS * * * * For sale is an antique pair of solid sterling silver candlesticks (not weighted) with the original removable bobeches made by the Unger Brothers circa 1909 - 1914. They are 8 1/2" tall and the base is 3" square; the bobeche (for catching wax) is 2" square. The combined weight is 392 grams. Marks: maker's mark for the Unger Brothers, STERLING + 925 FINE on all parts; the number 09848 is marked on the candlesticks. Great used condition for the pair; clean Edwardian Rectilinear lines. There are monograms on each candlestick (JLR).
