Description: Chassis mounted Filter and Coupling Capacitor Clamp Adaptors Very simple yet very effective adaptors for installing smaller diameter capacitors in vintage Pioneer receivers. These adaptors will sit between your existing clamp and your new replacement main capacitors. You will need to provide us with the diameter of your original capacitors and the diameter of your new capacitors. Ebay allows you to add a note with your purchase. Please use this format. OLD = 3" - NEW = 2.5" Or OLD = 52mm - NEW = 26mm Inches or millimeters: Your choice. The measurements need not be exact, these adaptor rings are slotted in the same way your capacitor clamps are to allow for some flexibility. Height is 8mm to 12.5mm depending on the overall size. Color varies depending on the filament we have in stock. Maximum outside diameter at this price is 3" which I covers all 1970's Pioneer units including the largest SX-1980 (it has a 3" clamp). While not necessary, if you want to keep the original look, you can cut off the bottom of your original capacitors, unstuff them and mount the adaptor and new caps inside. Finding modern caps of the right diameter can be a challenge. It can also be EXPENSIVE. These adaptors remove those headaches. If you are local to Marblehead, Ohio - stop by and grab a pair for free.
