Description: P. Mauriat System 76UL(Unlacquered) 2nd Edition Tenor Saxophone with high F#. Purchased New in early 2023. Manufactured in 2022. In perfect condition. No dents, dings, drops, or repairs. Everything is straight, tight, and smooth. Three of the original pads were replaced because they didn't have enough adhesive behind them to seal properly. All pads from top to bottom are sealing exceptionally well, and the horn is properly regulated with no issues. It plays effortlessly from top to bottom. I've owned a lot of modern and vintage horns, and this is the closest I've found in tone and response to vintage Selmers. It has a dense full core, thick and warm, with great resonance, character, and exceptional intonation. It actually sounds like a vintage horn. Note, this is an unlacquered/raw brass horn that has been used and consequently has saliva marks throughout. It's purely cosmetic and an unavoidable trade-off for the extra resonance of an unlacquered horn. Ships in the original case with shown accessories. Shipping within the US lower 48 only.
