Description: Here is a wonderful Oxford two minute cylinder record, #1572, released in 1918. Henry Burr sings the well-known song "Smiles" ("There are smiles that make you happy...") with orchestra. Excellent version of the toon, very enjoyable. The record plays well with fairly limited surface noise. I will send the record in a period correct cylinder box. This is one of the last of the Oxford two minute cylinders. Edison stopped making two minute cylinders in 1912!!
