Description: MONTY'S MILITARIA Original WW2 British Army 2nd Patt Mk II Royal Armoured Corps (RAC) Tank Crew Helmet/ Tommy Helmet Khaki Chin Strap - Dated 1941. Fantastic unissued condition for age, some light oxidisation to the metal work from storage. The elastic within the strap is perfectly supple and structurally solid. This pattern of strap replaced the more complicated and costly sprung loaded strap in order to be more economic during WW2. Marked: C & K Ltd 1941 Suitable for either a Mk II or the later war MK III Helmet.
