Description: Up for sale is a beautiful William Zorach watercolor. Interesting piece which shows a sunrise over beach and people. Fantastic color. This piece has been professionally framed. Painting is dated to 1966 and signed "Zorach" in bottom right. Painting measures approximately 10 x 14.5 inches. Including the frame it measures approximately 19.5 x 24 inches. William Zorach (1877 -1966) was a Lithuanian born but moved to America when young. He is a well known artist with paintings in museums and collections around the world. He spent a good portion of his time in Maine and this particular painting has tags from a Maine Auction House on back. Presumably subject matter is a Maine beach. A great piece. The painting looks to be in very nice condition with no visible issues. It has been framed in a high end decorative wood frame with glass.
