Description: Original ARIEL Motorcycle Enamel Tank Badge Emblem Scarce in Red 1933-52 British NICE Rare find here, with this original earlier Ariel motorcycle tank name plate, and in red and white enamel- that color scheme seems to be scarcer than the black and white counterpart. It's in decent shape, does have some chipping to the enamel at the edges where the mounting holes are and a couple of other small spots, but i must say, this looks great for such an old badge! This came from my father's collection of collectible goodies-he was an avid picker, and I am sure he gets the bug now and then still-- he loved the thrill of the hunt, like many of us do! I've enjoyed owning it for a good while, now it's time to pass it on- surely there's someone out there who can use this. I see lots of fakes and reproductions available, but no genuine original ones like this- it's nice! I just love the enamel work here, and the 3-D letter outlines, and the candy-apple red really makes the white enamel pop!
