Description: Original 1930s Chinese / Shanghai Advertising Poster features two pretty girls advertising Earth Fly and Insect Spray. A can of the Spray is shown and one of the girls is holding the pump that would have been used for the spray. A bottle is also shown which looks like a beverage bottle but I don't know what kind of bottle it is. One interesting feature of this poster is that even though the poster is Chinese, the Earth Fly and Insect Spray is in English. I know that these early posters were a way of advertising products since very few Chinese had radios so this may have been a cross-culture way of letting people know about some American products. This is an original Shanghai poster from the 1930s.It has a metal strip on the top edge and another metal strip on the bottle edge.It measures 20 1/4" wide x 29 1/2" long. Good condition. Has a tear by the metal strip on the top right and a tear by the metal strip on the bottom right. (see photos). Will be shipped rolled in a tube mailer.
