Description: This Olympic torch was part of the 2004 Athens, Greece Olympic Games torch relay and is a true piece of sports history. It is in excellent shape, made of olive wood and aluminum and has been well-maintained over the years. The design is said to have been inspired by the shape of an olive tree leaf with the aluminum and wood representing the 2 sides of the leaf. It measures approximately 26” long, weighs about 1.5lbs and the original fuel was gas (it is empty as far as I know). It was designed and manufactured by Andreas Varotsos/GA & L Harrington. It's perfect for anyone who wants to add a unique Olympic item to their collection.
