Nice Heathlit SB-220 Ham Radio HF-Bands (80-10 Meters) Linear Amplifier w/EIMAC

Description: This is a very nice, clean Heathkit model # SB-220 Ham Radio HF-Bands (80-10 Meters) Linear Amplifier from a local Amateur Radio Operator's Estate Sale.The SB-220 Amplifier is rated at 2KW Input Power. It is currently wired for 240V AC power, but can have the internal taps on the terminal strip changed so that it works on 120V AC. There are no known modifications or updates, such as those available from Harbach, etc. It appears to be completely stock as it was originally contstructed. The two - EIMAC 3-500Z tubes as shown in the pictures are included, and will be removed and packaged for safe shipping.The Amplifier keying-line voltage on many of these Heathkit, Kenwood, Drake, etc. tube-type amplifiers are usually around 120V DC. When being used with a modern solid-state Transceiver, there needs to be a soft-key board installed, or use an external unit like an Ameritron unit or similar external keying interface. This Amplifier is not tested and is sold as-is, with no returns. No manual was included, but it is available for free on-line download, if you'd like more information. There is a very active Heathkit Amplifiers user group on groups.io, and numerous videos on YouTube about testing, repairing and using the Heathkit SB-220.
