N SCALE ALF PIONEER FIRE TRUCK ENGINE SPECIAL SERVICE 2 3D PRINTED UNPAINTED

Description: Back in 1964 departments looking for new fire apparatus were faced with a choice of expensive custom chassis units or cheaper models based on commercial chassis. American LaFrance began to sell truck featuring the Pioneer cab. This was a hybrid between a commercial chassis rig and a custom model. The Pioneers ran from 1964 to 1978 in three different series: I, II, III. Internet research has shown that these trucks were built in almost every configuration that the 900 series and the later Century series were. These cabs offered seating with rear facing seats just like its cousin the 900 series and grandfather the legendary 700 series. The boys in design have been working hard to bring out several versions of this truck. If your layout is like mine, there can be times when lost time accidents are measured with a stop watch instead of a calendar. Our layout are always at the mercy of cat quakes, clumsy fingers, poor operating practices, you name it. That's why it's so important to equip your N scale fire department with all of the tools they need to cope with these calamities. Sometimes a standard engine or truck company just doesn't cut it and that's when these rigs hit the road. We're releasing two different special units. These are pulled by American LaFrance Pioneer tractors that are fully enclosed (if you want to swap with one of my other fire tractors let me know, I should be able to swap them out.) The fire is a standard equipment trailer that could serve a number of functions, Collapse Rescue, Urban Search and Rescue, Hazardous Materials or just about anything else you could think of. Each unit has a ladder for roof access. I'll be adding more as time permits. Some flash removal is required, Some models will require basic assembly. Each listing is for one item unless otherwise specified. Pictures with painted trucks are N scale. Since most modelers like to buy more than one item, I'm glad to combine shipping.
