Description: Outstanding and immaculate 1961 Mt Vernon Bach trumpet. 25 ML leadpipe, 43 bell. This trumpet was silverplated in the early 2000s and the plating remains about 97%. It also has a gold wash on the inside of the bell which enhances the cosmetic beauty. A period first valve saddle was added as well as an extended third valve rod to achieve the low concert Eb. The rod was switched around in order to accomodate the extension. These trumpets came with the third valve rod facing the opposite way, thus preventing the slide to be fully extended. The trumpet was recently ultrasonic cleaned and expertly maintained. Shop card included in photos. Valves have the matching serial number on them. No dents or scratches.
