Description: Morten's Studio was active in Illinois in the 1930s -1950s. I've read that Oscar Mortens made his figures in the traditional manner by sculpting over a wire frame which makes them heavy. This one does feel very sturdy and solid and perhaps a little heavier than normal so it could be solid. Measures 3" tall and about 3 1/2" long.
